BESFLOC flocculants are organic, synthetic, high molecular weight polyacrylamide based flocculation aids.

  • Non-ionic grades of BESFLOC flocculants are technically pure polyacrylamide. In an aqueous solution they show a neutral, i.e. non-ionic behavior.
  • Anionic grades of flocculants BESFLOC are copolymers of acrylamide with increasing proportions of acrylate, imparting negative charges to polymers in aqueous solution and thus anionic character.
  • Cationic grades of BESFLOC flocculants are copolymers of acrylamide with increasing proportions of cationic comonomers. The cationic groups introduced by them in the polymer have positive charges in the aqueous solution.

All three product groups are offered in the form of granules (solid products) and in liquid form in the form of water-in-oil emulsions, as oil-free dispersions, and as aqueous solutions. Granules are white, granular, loose, weakly dusting products with granulometric composition from 0.5 to 0.8 mm. Emulsions are viscous, well-flowing gel dispersions. Oil-free dispersions have a slightly higher viscosity than water-in-oil emulsions.

The flocculant analogues of BESFLOC are flocculants Praestol, Magnafloc flocculants, Zetag flocculants, SNF Flopam flocculants, Biflok flocculants, Superfloc flocculant, Accofloc flocculants, etc.
