Sugar industry
CH.E-Industry Group provides engineering and technological solutions for sugar industry enterprises aimed at improving production efficiency, optimizing technological processes, and reducing resource consumption.
We carry out process audits of production facilities, design and supply equipment, perform modernization of existing process lines, and implement comprehensive solutions for key sugar production processes.
Our solutions are adapted to the specific technological features of each plant and may include both modernization of existing systems and development of new technological solutions.
An important and actual area is the implementation of systems for treatment and recirculation of water after beet washing, which allows reducing fresh water consumption and lowering the load on wastewater treatment facilities.
Key solutions for sugar plants
- process audits and process optimization
- modernization of process lines
- water treatment and recirculation systems
- centrifuges and other equipment for thickening and dewatering
- selection and dosing of flocculants
- supply, service, and overhaul of equipment
- automation of technological processes
Water treatment and recirculation solution includes:
1. Collection of water after beet washing
Wastewater containing mechanical impurities is collected in tanks, with equipment selection based on volume and characteristics.
2. Clarification of water in radial thickeners
The use of thickeners of various diameters ensures efficient settling of solid particles and production of clarified water suitable for reuse in the process.
3. Use of flocculants
Selection and dosing of reagents based on testing allows improving sedimentation efficiency and adapting the process to actual operating conditions.
4. Dewatering of sludge in centrifuges
Thickened sludge is directed to dewatering using centrifuges.
We offer our own centrifuges, as well as provide service, modernization, and overhaul of centrifuges from various manufacturers.
5. Return of treated water to the process
Clarified water is returned to the washing cycle, enabling a closed-loop water system at the plant.
Key advantages of the solution:
- adaptation to specific plant conditions
- improved efficiency of clarification and dewatering
- water reuse
- reduction of environmental impact
Economic and operational advantages from recycling existing waste of coal enrichment
Recovery of 10-15% coal per ton of waste, increasing waste processing profitability
Cost savings in waste removal that reduce disposal expenditures
Removal of coal from waste reduces the need to purchase new volumes of coal
Reduces the need for new waste storage sites and optimizes utilization of existing infrastructure
Efficient waste management significantly reduces environmental impact
Site remediation and land restoration of former sludge storage facilities
The implementation of waste recycling processes generates new employment opportunities for technological line maintenance
